Sebastian Mlynarski is an award-winning director, executive producer, and cinematographer, and the founder of View with a Room, a boutique creative production company. He recently completed principal photography on a premium documentary series Who Hired the Hitman? released on HBO MAX.
His 2022 feature documentary Holy Heist, released on Discovery+, examines one of America’s most notorious robberies and is currently being developed into a scripted feature with Appian Way. His work has been recognized at major festivals including Tribeca and the Ottawa International Film Festival.
Mlynarski’s conceptual film The Waves, scored by Academy Award–winning composer Andrew Wyatt, was exhibited at the New Museum in New York, and his collaboration with artist Bjarne Melgaard premiered at the Venice Biennale. In addition to documentaries and art films, he has directed acclaimed music videos worldwide, including an MTV Video Music Award nomination for his video for Miike Snow.
